Here we are again, in the back to school days, today being the first for most.
I was lucky though, I was supposed to start today but my first and only class for the day was cancelled (I wish they told me ahead of time) and tomorrow is my day off. Thusday only have class at 3:00pm so I have extra 2.5 days of vacation time!!
The party pooper is the WEATHER! So COLD! :S Oh well… can’t have it all!
Anyways this is also the time for spending lots of money on back to school gear! A few words: Recyle, Used, Save!
Recycle old notebooks, pencil cases and writing tools. Get a hole binder and put together a bunch of unsued papers from old notebooks!
Get USED textbooks whenever possible, from peers, family members, your campus book store/usedbookstore, etc.
This will SAVE you some bucks, enough to extend it to other also useful stuff…Shoes!!
Seriously, doing these little things I often knock down around $200 each semester! Check some more tips on saving on back to school stuff: Save Money on your Textbooks
Happy Back to School Day Everyone!!
Cheers,
Ronny A.

Oh my I think I did not even taste the 2 hours of sleep I had in the morning!
Stayed up all night dealing with last minute arrangements for tonight’s event FROSH’d by Birthia.
I’m excited to see Grace Kaya perform her dance piece, she is just a sick dancer. Then we have our old friend Marcus Chonsky on the drums, and a fairly new addition to our network of talented people DJ Mike Anthony, who’s going to perform all night!
And of course I cannot forget Automatic Toys – a very interesting local band that mixes some rock with electronic beats.
I do not know exactly what to expect from the Dirty Deeds Sessions: I had great fun putting it together, but wondering if people are too shy for it.. Oh well we will see!
Gotta run!

So this is my first post here, and I wanted it to be short and sweet but still having a good message!
So going through some of the things in my journal I saw this quote the summarizes how I look at things…. or at least try my best to. Here it is:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?”
– Marianne Williamson
After that movie Akeelah and the Bee this quote might have become a bit a of a cliché, but it does not take away its meaning. Those of you who know me well and know the rest of the quote might be confused, because it does get a bit religious and I am definitely not the religious kind. Truth is my ideologies should never interfere with my ability to accept and agree with another. An I believe this part of the quote is one that many should ponder upon and perhaps even live by.
So here is my little thought of the day… hope it can reach out and reach deep.
Sincerely,
Ronny A.
